Floyd Rice



Floyd was chairman in 1996 and put on the reunion that year in Minden, Nevada.

His Coast Guard duty included service aboard PONTCHATRAIN and as CO of VENTUROUS, MIDGETT and CG Support Center, Kodiak. He retired from the Coast Guard as a CAPT. Floyd "crossed over the bar" on December 23, 2000 and is survived by his wife, Ruby who lives in Cedar Rapids, Iowa."
