Doak Walker



Doak is our Chairman for 2010 and will serve also as Treasurer.

His Coast Guard duty included CCGD17 4 yrs, Doak is chairman of the 255' Cutters Association. He retired as a RMC.

Doak was 'recruited' in 2008 as Chairman for 2010 in hopes that the CGC STORIS would have been transported by then to Juneau AK, his home town to become part of the STORIS Museum and Educational Center. Although it does appear favorable that this will happen it appears the date for the STORIS to arrive Juneau is still off in the distance.

Doak would appreciate volunteers to help him with our Association. He is looking for someone to help him as Vice Chairman and another to serve possibly as treasurer. If you can help, please contact him ASAP.
