However, due to the uncompleted dock space it will be a couple more years before it will arrive. Jim Loback through his valient efforts as located and accuried a 3"/38 Gun the type that was originally on the STORIS. It has been shipped here to Juneau and will be cleaned up and setup for display until such time that it can be placed on the STORIS.   Due to the fact that I will be holding the All Ships Reunion in Reno, NV next May I decided to also hold the A-BSP reunion in Reno also. It will be the week after from 22 to 25 May 2011. I just got back from Reno two weeks ago and did a site inspection to the Circus Circus and Jonell Maler whom I have worked with before has set us up with a good package. The hospitality room is a large room that will hold a hundred plus people. There is also a Registration area and two additional meeting rooms. Room rates anytime prior to Sunday the 22nd are $79.00 plus tax and rates for Sunday 22nd to Wednesday  25th is $55.00 plus tax. Reservations can be made by calling the Hotel Reservation Department at 1-800-648-5010. In order to receive the group rate, callers must identify their affiliation with ALASKA/BERING SEA PATROL or group code IABSEA. Reunion attendees will be provided with a hotel VIP package upon check in. The hotel allows individual attendees the right to cancel their guest room reservations with out penalty up to forty-eight (48) hours prior to the attendees' scheduled arrival date. The hospitality room will be setup each day of the reunion with free munchies and drinks. As an added treat I will be bringing in Alaska smoked salmon and my special crab dip.   The reunion banquet will be held on Wednesday night. There will also be a farewell brunch on Thursday morning before checkout for those desiring to stay and attend.   I am now issuing membership cards for all members who's dues are up to date.
